Supplies you need:
A large cardboard box, cut open and laid down flat
2 clean and empty pop cans
1 peanut bar jar lid or a foam disc
scrapbooking paper or gift wrap
coordinating paper or wrap to trim the stand with
stick glue
hot glue gun w/glue
1 large, 1 medium, and 1 small bowl, pot, pan, or round objects
ruler/measuring tape
scissors
pen
1. Take your cardboard box and cut the tape holding it together so that it can lay flat.
2. Place your largest bowl/instrument-of-choice on one of the panels and trace it with a pen. Do this with the other circular items. Cut out all of your circles.
3. Take your themed paper and place it face-side down on a flat surface. If it's not big enough to cover your circle, then cut and tape more paper for it to be big enough. Trace the circles on the back of the paper. Cut out the paper circles.
4. Glue down all of your paper circles to the cardboard.
6. Wrap a piece of coordinating paper over a pop can, and cut it so that it will cover top to bottom. Glue or adhesive dot the paper into place. If you used school glue, sling a rubber band over it while it dries so you don't have to hold it. Do this with the other pop can.
7. Measure your peanut butter lid/similar device, and cut about 6-10 strips of paper the width of the lid (this will be the trim of the stand.) Glue a few pieces together so that it's long enough to wrap around a circle.
8. Make sure your glue gun is ready. Lay your circles face-side down on a surface that is okay to get messy. Wrap the paper around the edge of the circle to make sure it fits, then cut it to the according length. Since hot glue dries so quickly, place a small amount of glue on the outer edge of the circle, hug the paper trim to it quickly and hold in place, then repeat until you have all of the trim in place. Do this for all three circles.

7. Using the hot glue gun, secure a pop can in the middle of the very large circle. Put a ring of hot glue around the top of the can, and put the large circle on top of it, holding it down in place while it dries. You might want to put an extra ring of glue around it after it dries for it to be more secure. Do the same to attach the second pop can to the large circle, and then the smallest circle on top of that.

8. Turn your stand upside down, and hot glue the PB lid or whatever you used to the middle of the stand. This will keep the paper trim from crumpling when you put the cupcakes on it. Yes, I know, why even bother with the trim if you have to add the lid to the bottom? It just looks so much more complete and professionally bought if you use a trim!
